Application Requirements

Venus Montessori School is not denominational and welcomes children regardless of race, religion, colour and creed.

In order for your child's application to be processed, please complete this application and return to Venus Montessori School with the following:

A copy of your child's Public Health Immunization Card

A recent photograph of your child

A copy of your child's Birth Certificate

A completed Emergency Consent Form

A non-refundable application fee of $500

Selection of preferred payment option from the Tuition Fee Schedule and inclusion of initial and post-dated cheques

ENROLLMENT AGREEMENT

The following terms of admission apply to enrolment at Venus Montessori Schools:

Upon admission, the parent has reviewed, understood, and agreed to comply with the policies as set out in the VMS PARENT HANDBOOK, the Current TUITION FEE SCHEDULE, and the terms and provisions of the admission information.

Parents have signed and submitted the EMERGENCY CONSENT FORM including Parental Permission for Medical Treatment.

All dues and post-dated payments must be received by the Office as per the admission procedure with cheques.

Once an enrolment application for a child has been accepted by cashing the application and June deposit payments, all the terms of enrolment apply, including withdrawal, regardless of start date.

The undersigned understands that enrolment at Venus Montessori Schools includes the 10-month academic year from September to June, or the remainder of the school academic year after a later, initial start date.

If a child is withdrawn during the school year, sixty (60) days' written notice shall be provided to the Office, or sixty (60) days' fees in lieu of notice shall be paid after the child leaves the school, regardless of the reason for withdrawal, including, but not limited to, sudden departure, holiday, or illness. The application fee and the following June deposit are non-refundable and non-transferable and not included in the sixty (60) days’ notice period.

Due to significant bookkeeper charges for program changes, all future programs change requests after acceptance of this application are subject to a charge of $20/change for all program changes within the means of this application, if available and accepted by the Office, but excludes Infant to Toddler and Toddler to Casa graduation advancement, as well as more comprehensive program selections. The school is closed for statutory holidays. VMS does not have PA days. We are open for March Break Camp, Winter Camp and Summer Camp which are optional at an additional fee.

The undersigned understands that the school may take, and grants permission for the use of, various pictures and videos throughout the school's operation that may be displayed in the school, on the school's websites and social media, on promotional material, etc.

VMS uses email and other telecommunications to distribute information about the school and its activities. In accordance with Canada's anti-spam legislation, by signing this contract agreement, you are providing VMS with consent to communicate with you via electronic means. If, at any time you wish to revoke this consent, please state such intention in writing to VMS.

Venus Montessori Schools reserve the right to terminate services if the above conditions are not met.

The undersigned understand(s) that, during the child's daily activities at school, injuries may occur and agree(s) to release and indemnify Venus Montessori Schools, their events, and employees harmless from any and all claims, damages, or any liabilities arising as a result of any accident, injury, or incident involving the enrolled child as a result of his/her participation in any school activities that are not caused by a direct negligent act/ omission of Venus Montessori Schools, their agent

Venus Montessori Schools reserve the right to exclude any child from attendance, temporarily or permanently, who is deemed by the Head of Schools to be interfering with the health, safety, or educational development of him/her self or any other child in the school. If your child is asked to withdraw, the initial deposit and registration fee will be retained by VMS.

enus Montessori Schools reserve the right to approve all registrations and to not accept any application in their sole and unfettered discretion. Should VMS deny a registration, its obligation is limited to refunding any money for which a service has not been provided.
